While the WordPress core does have plenty of built-in functions and features, It still misses out on some surprisingly common features. One example of this is the ability to add, viewing, and downloading PDF files from WordPress websites.
During my research, I found quite a number of WordPress PDF viewer plugins. However, for this article, I have listed only the ones I believe to deliver quality results. You can use any of the given plugins to help your visitors view and download your files in PDF format:

PDF Embedder is one of the highest rated WordPress PDF viewer plugins that automatically upload and embed PDFs. You can also adjust the width of your PDF file and the plugin will correct its height automatically.

Gravity PDF automatically mails PDF when your visitors fill out a form. You can also generate or email the PDF conditionally.
Google Drive Embedder
Google Drive Embedder allows you to embed PDF files to your web page or blog post by accessing the Google Drive in a popup box. Other than that, you can embed documents in-line using Google’s read-only interactive viewer. In addition, you could offer, editable and downloadable links on you site.

DK PDF is a simple but effective WordPress PDF viewer plugin that uses a button allowing you to convert any of your pages or posts into PDFs. The plugin could also make it easy to edit PDF file’s header, footer, add custom logo, CSS and more. DK PDF comes with customizable PDF templates as well as shortcodes for removing pieces of content and adding page breaks.
PDF & Print by BestWebSoft
PDF & Print by BestWebSoft allows you to add PDF and print buttons to your WordPress posts, pages and widgets. The plugin also lets you generate custom styled documents and data for archiving, saving and sharing. The plugin’s premium version comes with a lot more features that enhance the appearance and customization of PDF files.
BSK PDF Manager
BSK PDF Manager helps you upload, manage and display your PDF documents by categories or show one special document. It is easy to set up this plugin as you only need to copy shortcodes into those pages and posts where you want to display your PDF files.
